Emotional Freedom Technique or "Tapping" is a mind / body technique. It is a talking therapy that uses tapping on acupressure points on the hands, face and upper body while focusing on a particular emotion, memory or belief.

This process helps balance the energy system and releases the emotional charge of the memory. Gary Craig the founder of EFT states that..."the cause of all negative emotion is a disruption in the body's energy system". EFT is a way of balancing the energy system.

EFT can be used to reduce stress and tension, promote a deeper mind  body connection and to manage various symptoms. It can support people to process emotions including fear, anger, grief, difficult memories, stress and anxiety. It helps to calm the system and can support you in identifying emotional triggers, behaviours and core beliefs.
